FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where does my tour start? – If you are flying we will meet your group at the airport baggage claim to assist you with local transportation. Otherwise if your group is arriving by motor coach, it’s suggested that we meet you at your arrival location or chosen hotel to avoid any confusion.

What hotels do you use? – Simplicity only uses “student group friendly” hotels. We have buying power with major hotel brands including LaQuinta, Embassy Suites, Choice, Hilton, Ramada, Marriott, Hyatt, and more. We also supply you with a list of the hotels we work with plus their website so that you can research and choose the perfect hotel that will suit your needs. Furthermore, all hotels we work with have a pool!

How do we pay & what do you accept as payment? – Unfortunately, Simplicity can only accept school issued checks, preferably one per month, which is outlined in the confirmed agreement. All checks are to be made payable toSimplicity Student Travel, LLC.

Example of a deposit request:

  • $50.00 per person to SIMPLICITY along with a signed copy of this agreement – due TBA.
  • $50.00 per person to SIMPLICITY on or before 90 days prior to arrival date.
  • $50.00 per person to SIMPLICITY on or before 60 days prior to arrival date
  • Complete and final room list to SIMPLICITY on or before 45 days prior to arrival date.
  • Full balance to SIMPLICITY on or before 30 days prior to arrival date.

(All deposit due dates & amounts are negotiable)

Are there any hidden costs? – Besides a discretionary gratuity for the bus driver OR your “travel expert,” all taxes and gratuities are included in the package cost. Naturally, if a server at a venue goes above and beyond the call of duty – please feel free to show your appreciation.

Complimentary Policies – Generally, Simplicity provides one complimentary double occupancy package for every ten (10) paid individuals (with a minimum of 20 passengers for an Orlando trip or 40 passengers for any destination other than Orlando). “IF” a specific comp policy is required – just ask. We are “just that simple” to work with!

Check-in/Check-out – Generally, hotel check-in is either late afternoon or in the evening of your arrival date. A Simplicity Travel Expert will meet/greet you at your hotel upon arrival to assist with check-in. Most hotels do not allow group check-in before 3:00 p.m. (or later). Check your final itinerary for specifics. Check-out is usually on the last day of your stay. We suggest checking out after breakfast. Again, a Simplicity Travel Expert will assist you with your hotel check-out.

What is the cancellation policy & will any refunds be given? – In the event of a “GROUP” cancellation, some deposit monies are refundable depending on the refund policies of the individual contracted suppliers of any portion of the tour. Otherwise, Simplicity MUST RECEIVE a written notice via email or a letter of cancellation from THE GROUP no less than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled departure date. If we receive any notice after 60 days, only portions of the deposit can be refunded as stated above. Other than airline or train reservations – Individual cancellations received less than 21 days prior to the scheduled departure will result in no refund whatsoever. Only name changes can be accepted.

When can we get started? – The sooner the better! Some attractions, hotels, events, performance venues and transportation companies provide “early” reservation rates. Therefore, we suggest you begin planning as soon as possible. However, Simplicity will easily work with you at any time you begin planning your trip.
